P.Bazhov was one of my favourite writers when I was a kid -- partly because my house was not too far from where he lived (now a museum). I love the artwork in this cartoon, though I'm less sure about the space music.

Absolutely love it! I've seen it in childhood, but only in pictures (in slides, at least that's how dictionary tells me to translate it:) and have forgotten it's name. But now I know! Thanks so much! Also many thanks for translating, because my Russian is not good enough to watch it without translation.
